Brian Martveli

Behavior Consultant

FDM

Brian’s passion for animals began early in life.

At age 10, he welcomed his first dog, a Wheaten Terrier named Clover, and that companionship sparked a lifelong commitment to working with dogs. Starting his journey in dog daycare, Brian quickly realized he wanted to dedicate his life to canine behavior and training.

He began his formal training career as an intern at Canine Solutions Dog School in Kansas. After earning his CPDT-KA certification, Brian launched his own dog training business with the support and mentorship of several industry pros. While in Kansas, he devoted much of his free time to pro bono work—evaluating dogs and supporting behavior cases for various rescues and shelters.

Brian later moved to South Carolina, where he worked as a behavioral trainer for a small rescue organization. His deep-rooted passion lies in helping dogs with special needs—whether medical or behavioral—and empowering their owners with the tools and confidence to build lasting, positive relationships.

Hana

German Shorthaired Pointer

Hana is Brian’s heart dog and lifelong adventure partner. He brought her home at just 8 weeks old and poured his growing knowledge of dog training into her upbringing. Highly intelligent and driven, Hana thrives in structured work and outdoor activities. She excels in nosework, tracking, and obedience—and she loves paddleboarding and exploring new places.

Hana is a trained Search and Rescue dog as well as a task-trained service dog for Brian. Her adventurous spirit and strong work ethic make her a remarkable companion both in life and in the field.

She loves: Nosework, tracking, hiking, swimming, paddleboarding, sprinting through SniffSpots.

Akina (Kina)

Belgian Malinois

Akina joined the family as a rescue through Red’s House Rescue Network after being found in a dumpster in Texas. Now a growing force of nature, Akina is full of energy, curiosity, and—you guessed it—bite! As a bitesport prospect, she’s being trained for competitive protection sports and is already showing incredible drive.

While tug and biting are her favorite pastimes, Kina also enjoys nosework, swimming, and wrestling with other dogs. She’s not the most interested in human strangers—unless they bring a tug toy—but her personality continues to unfold each day.

She loves: Biting (of course), tug, nosework, swimming, and chewing on dog friends.
